The outdoor app guida - safer adventures is an innovative solution developed to enhance the user experience within the outdoor sports sector, specifically catering to hiking and e-biking enthusiasts.
Software that creates a skill level for all users in the hiking and e-bike sector based on simple questions. This is then compared with the requirements of the environment (tour).
The primary objective was to create a positive and seamless user experience that ensures safety, convenience, and enjoyment for outdoor enthusiasts.

At the end of March 2022, the start-up Guida GmbH and the Competence Center Usability started their cooperation in the joint pilot project. The start-up develops software that can be used to plan tours for hikes or with e-bikes. The special feature: Individual abilities and wishes are taken into account during planning. One of the start-up's concerns is to design its products in a scientifically sound way for good usability and positive user experience - the Competence Center Usability supports them in this. Another current topic is the development of eleven experience categories in the context of outdoor sports.
